Q: Grand am gt 3.4l v6 i need to know where shift selinoids are located.

I have a 2000 Pontiac grand am gt with bad shifting selinoids and I need to know where they are located so I can fix this problem I have been told there deep in the transmission then someone else tells me there underneath the pan so which one is it ?

My car has 150000 miles.
