Q: Gearshift stuck on Park

asked by on

The gearshift is stuck on Park.

I’ve come across this problem a few different times and each time it was something different (e.g., broken shift cable and/or connectors, failed brake switch, or solenoid at the column). Have a certified mechanic, like one from YourMechanic, run an inspection to determine the source and cause of the shifting issue.
