Q: gas gage dont work after battery unhooked

asked by on

after i unhooked battery the gas gage stoped working it worked befor

My car has 16000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

With your car I have seen the gas gauge go all the way around the gauge and get stuck on the other side of the stop from the bottom of the gas gauge. Easiest way to fix it is to drill a small hole in clear front of the gauge and use a paper clip or some other small object to flip it around when the key is turned off.
