Q: Fuel pump reset location

asked by on

Was rear ended in a accident and the truck will not start is there reset for fuel pump why won't it start

You did not mention what truck you have or what year. For a Ford truck you will find the fuel inertia switch in the right kick panel inside the passenger compartment. Just push down the reset and fuel pump should start working again. As far as other trucks they work different and do not have these inertia switches and use oil pressure or other means to keep turn on the fuel pump.
