Q: Front Strut Mount Replacement

asked by on March 15, 2018

So during my last oil change, the mechanic said I need to replace my struts because the mount is starting to wear. I can definitely tell that something is wrong because when I turn my wheel all the way, I hear clicking and can definitely hear other noises when I brake etc.

My questions are:

Can I replace just the strut mounts? It saves me a about $400 to not do the rest of the strut. How do I know if I replace the whole thing?

Is there a quick strut assembly option on your mechanic that replaces all the parts?

Thank you!

My car has 99500 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
