Q: Sound when turning

asked by on February 01, 2017

A few days ago, I notice my front right wheel was screeching whenever I turn to the right at low speed (around 20-30kph). Then just a day ago, the screeching sound was present, although not always, even I'm driving straight after a few meters of driving. I checked my power steering fluid level ('cause a friend told me maybe that was causing the sound) and it was at a good level (cold/warm). I checked whether there were leaks and there wasn't any. I checked the parts (just the outside of it) and I couldn't notice anything wrong (apart from that it needs a bit of a cleaning).

My car has 350000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

The problems you describe (leaking radiator (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/coolant-is-leaking-inspection), overheating) often lead to a "blown" or leaking head gasket. For your vehicle, there is only 1 head gasket, which would need to be replaced. This is in addition to any failure of...
