Hello there, a few different faults may have happened with your 1998 Toyota Corolla for the fuel gauge to read full after your speedo cable repair. The most common would be a poor electrical connection of the fuel gauge wiring, or a short in the wiring harness. A qualified Technician such as one from YourMechanic will be able to diagnose your fuel gauge and make any repairs required.
