Q: Feels like the car doesn't get out of 3rd gear. Check engine light is on. And when it gets over 60mph the car shudders.
For the last month now, every time I get on to the freeway and hit 60mph, the car shudders for a second or two. Since then, my last trip, as I was changing lane to get off the freeway, I accelerated an it felt like the car would not get out of 3rd gear. At that point I noticed the "Check engine soon" light had come on. I made my way back home, with the car in 3rd gear the whole way.
