Q: F150 no drive
I have a 97 f150. Has a 4.6 lt engine. We started noticing at first the gear shift was lining up correctly. Then we had trouble with it slipping out of parking and rolling. Now it won't go into drive. It will shift in reverse and does fine. It will go into neutral also. When we put it in drive we have to rev up the rpms and eventually it would switch over, but now it won't even do that. The engine will start right up. It still shifts to reverse and does fine. So I'm not sure wether it's a problem internally or something simple. Can't afford a new transmission
