Hello. Most of the time with this problem, your EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) valve and EGR solenoid need to be replaced in order to fix your problem. Sometimes this problem can be corrected by cleaning out the EGR valve and the parts that go to the EGR valve. This should be done by a certified technician.
