Q: Engine trouble
I have a 2003 jaguar x type. I was driving down the road when I heard rumbling under the hood that sounded like a belt might be stuck. After turning off the vehicle, it would not turn back on. I heard a light pinging noise when turning the key and static. The lights work but the car will not start. At no point did the check engine light come on. This also happened after an oil change with 7 quarts of oil replaced. I used an OBD2 scanner and it just came up with a manufacturer control code, P1000 and P1111 at a different time. Any input is appreciated.
