Q: Engine shield hanging off

asked by on

There is a plastic piece that is hanging under my car. I think it is the shield that protects the engine from damage.

The cover hangs pretty low on these cars and can get caught on parking stops pretty easily. When they get caught and you back away from the car, this can tear them loose. I would have a certified mechanic come and look over your vehicle for you to see if the cover can be reattached or if it will need replacement.
