Q: Emissions test failure - UK?

asked by on March 02, 2017

My car failed its mot emissions test. Kwik fit said it could be the service, oil, exhaust. I then had them do a full service which covered them checking the exhaust and changing the oil and completing the service. it still failed they then said they think its the catalytic converter and the flexi pipe needs changing. I then took it to another garage where they done an emissions test and said they think its the lambda sensor which i have then had changed. Which they are saying its still failed. I dont know what to do from here i dont want kwik fit to do the work considering i am already £400 in another £380 for the work they are suggesting for it to fail again... Please i need some advice
