Q: Electrical issues with my vehicle that is unexplained.

asked by on December 01, 2016

This problem started a few weeks ago when I replace a burnt brake light bulb right side and the one near the back window door: Interior dome light will stay on even on automatic selection so I must close my interior lights off when shutting off the Liberty and even while driving. On my dosh board it shows my kilometres and door but all doors are closed. Wiper motor stop working also. I checked the 15A wiper fuse and it was blown so I replaced it but the motor still doesn t work. While driving the chime for an open door rings on occasion and door locks activate themselves erratically.

I had a diagnostic test done by Ottawa Chrysler and found back door latch defective so it was replace but the problem persists, So far I cleaned all the latch doors with contact cleaner but the problem still persists. What else could cause the problem
