Q: Driver's seat not working correctly.

asked by on

The driver's seat doesn't go back.

The seat adjustment motors are powered directly by the seat switch. There is a 25 amp circuit breaker on top of the fuse box that may need to be reset if the seat will not move in any direction. If the seat will adjust in all directions except backwards there is either a problem in the switch, wiring, or seat motors themselves. Power can be checked at seat motor to see if it is receiving voltage when the seat switch is operated. You may want to enlist the help of a mechanic, like one from YourMechanic, to assist in the diagnosis and repair of the seat adjustment issue.
