Q: Driver's seat not moving

asked by on

The driver's seat is not moving. It looks like the thing under the seat is busted.

The "thing under the seat" could be the seat frame, or power motor assembly. The lower power seat is a separate part from the seat itself and may need to be replaced. The power seat frame is not a serviceable item, and is only replaceable. I recommend having a certified mechanic, such as one from YourMechanic, inspect your inoperative power seat to see if a complete replacement is needed, or not.
