Q: Door replacement / wire harness
AM replacing my drivers side door due to large dent. We go the door in but the power locks and power mirror do not work Using the wire harness that was attached to the same door. Am assuming the door perhaps came off a 4dr with extra buttons or something because we had extra wires that my existing door and wire harness did not have? Question is: if we transfer old wire harness onto new door will it fit in the plug on the new door. Also need to replace door jamb switch. Can i do that through the hole in the side of the dash? Also there seems to be a hole in the door that is lined up with that switch. Does it need to align to that hole? Any help at all would be GREATLY appreciated as i am winging this all the way.
