Q: Door lock cylinder replaced, car in anti-theft mode will not start.
My car recently got broken into, in doing so they completely ruined lock cylinder. Had to replace the cylinder and got a new key to unlock the door. The key I have to start my car is the same from before, the car will not start. It is in anti-theft mode. When bringing it home from friends house who replaced the cylinder, it drove a good 40 minutes. After that refused to start... please help! I don't want to pay a huge amount with the dealership , I simply can't afford it at the moment.
