Q: Do I need to change the oil filter and drain and refill the oil when the oil is low or do I just drain and refill the oil? 2014 Toyota Corolla

asked by on February 20, 2017

I bought the car at 26,442 miles on 9/06/16. On the windshield, there is a sticker that says, "Change oil the next 3,000 miles or 3 months. The next determined oil change is 29,682." I haven't checked the oil level but I will when I am not busy. I don't want to go to a auto shop like Meineke or TiresPlus. I'd rather do it myself.

My car has 27067 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
