Q: Do I need a second opinion?

My check engine came on and code said misfire and open circuit on cylinder 1...got tune up with all new plugs and coil packs all around and replaced injector in cyclinder 1 but light is still on...mechanic that replaced injector said he had to run wire from positive ground to injector due to bad negative ground wire n suggests replacing my computer. ASAP ..is this necessary or should I get another opinion? Is it possible to just get new wiring harness?
