Q: defroster I ssue

asked by on

My defroster not blowing to the dashboard instead it blowing back to me

My car has 73000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

Hi there. It sounds like you have a servo failing in the heat/ac system. These servos control airflow throughout the system; vent selection, temperature selection, and fresh/recirculate air. I suggest having a qualified technician perform an inspection to avoid replacing unnecessary parts. Your Mechanic has several available technicians that can assist you with a defrost vents have no airflow inspection.
