Q: Dead battery or something else?

my jeep died, it worked all up untill i sat down in it and once i did it went dark. i tried jumping it a couple times, but it wont even pretend to work. literally nothing happens. cant put it in neutral without power so it cant move either
My car has an automatic transmission.
