Q: Cranks, has spark and fuel, won't start
Had blown head gasket Had heads honed, Reinstalled heads, (new gasket), installed valve covers and manifolds I brought up the number five cylinder until the rocker was just starting to push down the valve Then I went to number one intake valve and set the valve lash at 14 and continued in the firing order setting exhaust at 16 when the valves were just starting to come down. I was working from a shop manual, but not sure I was interpreting it correctly. This engine ran well before ( even after!!) the head gaskets were blown.
