About three times now this has happened. After I have been driving for a long distance 100 + miles, my low coolant light comes on and when I looked under the hood I have found that the coolant has sprayed out. The only thing is I cannot tell exactly where it's coming from. Because when I open the hood there is no lingering steam or anything else to lead me directly to the source. I'm sure though it's coming from somewhere near the reserve container. But there is no obvious cracks from the tube leading into the reserve container and the only suggestion I've heard is that maybe I have a faulty cap. (Each time this has happened I had just been to a mechanic to have my oil changed and all my levels checked. As I always do before I go out of town.)
Does anyone else think it's the cap?
