Q: Cold the trans shifts great but when it get warm it's like it's in neutral

asked by on

Drive car 5-10 min when it get warm it goes to neutral but u can cut car off and do it all over again

My car has 190000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

The transmission most likely has internal fluid leaks in the pressure control circuit of the valve body. The leak gets worse as fluid heats up and leaks more. Have the transmission pressures checked at a transmission shop.
