Q: Coil misfiring and spark plugs bad.

Car will not start after having sat for a long time. I had a mechanic diagnose the problem about six months ago and found out that a coil was misfiring and the spark plugs need replacing.

You may need to have the battery tested. If it sits for a long time the battery can drain from the computer running. If your car is going to sit for long periods of time I would recommend that you put a battery tender on it which will keep the battery charged.
