Q: P0336 code is stored what does this mean?

i an geting a po336 code what is the ckt mean

Hi there. This is a code stored when the ECM detects a fault in the crankshaft (CKT) position sensor circuit. This does not mean that the sensor has failed, only that there has been a fault detected in the circuit. This could be the sensor, reluctor ring, wire harness, connectors, or ECM. A proper diagnosis of the system will require repair manual information for specifications of the sensor and circuit, electrical wiring diagrams, and proper diagnostic tools.. I suggest having a qualified technician perform an inspection to avoid replacing unnecessary parts. Your Mechanic has several available technicians that can assist you with a check engine light inspection.
