Q: Clicking and strange smell

asked by on November 22, 2017

So recently i replaced the driver side cv axle, and my front calipers on my Honda. It was fine after I picked it up, and then the next day noticed that it was making a kind of clunking noise when I turned hard, I suspect the other axle needs replacing, it also makes a small clicking sound that sounds like a phone keyboard click coming from the left side of my steering wheel, it seems to happen randomly not necessarily when turning. I’m unsure if that is related to the axle or another issue? I parked the car and turned the wheel while watching the tires and they turned like normal with no sounds, so bag was confusing. There is also an intermittent burning smell inside my car that seems to be the most apparent when I have my car parked and running for a good minute or so. If anyone can help to diagnose all of these problems that would be very appreciated. Thank you!

My car has 117536 miles.
