Q: Choking
Van is choking after a stop or it did when in idle a couple of days back but it's still drivable. It did it about 4 times especially at a stop sign or stop light. Loud high pitched whining noise coming from the fuel pump. I replaced the spark plugs and got an injector cleaner into the tank. Called a mechanic and explained the events. I suspected it was the fuel pump but the menhanic mentioned that if it was the pump the car wouldn't start at all. Now, a couple of days later problem is starting again. Could it be the pump? Ignition coil? Pump regulator ? No check engine light is present . Help
