Q: Changed alternator, Charged battery, still won’t start.

asked by on February 06, 2018

I have a 07 Nissan Altima. Just changed the alternator now the car will not start. Lights turn on inside the car, but it clicks once like it wants to start but doesn’t. I also took the battery to O’Riley to charge for a couple of hours and they said it was fine but it still doesn’t start. I can’t lock my doors with the key fob nor control the windows. The brake pedal is also really hard to push down on now. Any suggestions or quick fixes as to what the problem is?
My car has an automatic transmission. UPDATE: found a blown fuse that was connected to the battery, could something this small be the changing factor to get my car to start?
