Q: Change Handbrake type

asked by on August 21, 2017

Hello. I want to change my Isuzu truck(NPR 75K) Hand brake type. Currently, I have drum brakes and active them by pulling a lever. But I want to replace them with an electric park brake. A cable puller actuator, for instance. Also I'm wondering if I could use electric park brake with a full electric motor and gearbox installed directly on the caliper. I would appreciate if you advised me about feasibility of this concept and how to do it. Regards.
