Q: CD player working intermittently.

My CD player on my radio does not work all of the time.

I would recommend you look for a cd player cleaning disk. This is basically a cd that has little brushes on it to clean the cd reader inside your radio. If the cleaning does not fix your issue unfortunately the radio will need to be replaced. I would get advice from a mechanic to either replace the radio with a factory stereo or an aftermarket head unit.
