Q: Cayennes 2006-2010 V6 models with about 100k miles: What are the most frequent unexpected repairs that you have seen?

asked by on October 12, 2017

I am about to purchase a Cayenne from years 2006-2010 V6 and I know the maintenance costs are higher than other brands. But I want to have a good idea if they are much higher than say a BMW X3 or a Volvo XC60 of the same age and mileage. Hence: What are the most frequent unexpected repair issues that the Cayenne has. E.g. transmission, engine, electrical, ... that are costly. This is not the S version, so I expect the engine to have less problems, but other transmission issues or engine oil leakages - I have no idea how frequent they are, nor how much they cost (ballpark). Where can I find that info, if not asking experts like you guys? Thanks

My car has 10000 miles.
