Q: car wouldnt start with new battery
I tried to start my car, it had been sitting for 12 hrs in a parking deck cause i was at school. anyway, i put the key in, turned it, and the lights flick at the auxillary power notch but when i tried to turn the car all the way over the lights went out and the car wouldnt start. i tried pushing the brake in and making sure my parking brake was up and the car was in park, but the car wouldnt start and the light didnt come on at all the second time. had to eventually use a flashlight and tap the battery leads, then the car started. Do you think that my batteries leads need to be tightened?
