when I go to start it it wont start but when I leave it and the sun hits it in the afternoon it starts
My car's transmission is unknown to me.

Hi there:

Quite frequently this is due to the fact that fuel pressure is not held up to the injectors overnight. This issue is typically caused by a bad fuel pump check valve, or the fuel pressure regulator is leaking down the pressure. The best way to determine this is to have the fuel pressure leak down and pressures checked which should pinpoint the source of the failure. A good way to simplify the search is to have a professional mechanic complete a car is hard to start inspection first.
