Q: Car won't remain started

asked by on

My car won't remain started. It has a trip switch.

Your vehicle is equipped with an anti-theft system. There should be a solid red light in the instrument cluster that signifies that the system has been tripped. Unfortunately, the security module is a common failure in your vehicle. This means that you will need to go to a dealer because, once this module is replaced, it needs to be programmed.
