Q: Car will not start

asked by on January 25, 2017

So I open my door manually with key and nothing is on, no lights nothing. I checked the battery and it was on pretty tight. So I figured it was my starter since I just brought a cheap one a month ago. Usually when I tap the starter it starts…but nothing. I received a jump then my lights and radio actually turned on. Sat there for 15 min w the cables connected and it would try to start but it would not start completely,, just cranking. So once the cables were taken off I tried to start the car then all of a sudden there were multiple clicking sounds, my light inside kept flickering like the batter was draining. I don’t know if it’s the starter..battery or hell maybe the alternator. Please help
My car's transmission is unknown to me.
