Q: Car will not shift out of neutral.

asked by on February 20, 2018

While reversing into a parking spot, the car was shifted from drive accidentally into neutral (instead of reverse) and would not shift out of neutral. The car shift button in the center console will not budge and you cannot press it. Need the problem solved ASAP and am not sure what the issue could be.
My car has an automatic transmission.
