Q: Car stops at high speed, stalls at stops, trouble starting. 1997 Geo Metro

asked by on August 24, 2016

My car ocassionally has difficulty starting up. Also, when I'm driving at higher speeds it would stop out of the blue. When I'm about to bring it to a halt, the car would shut off completely. What might be causing this?

Why does my truck cut off when the TPS is unplugged

Engine
Hi there. As long as the motor mounts are for a big block, and the flywheel and transmission were originally designed for a big block GM, you should't have any problems with that engine swap.
