Q: Car smoking

asked by on

My car is smoking from under the hood on the left side.

This is most likely due to an engine oil leak. When the oil is leaking, it is dripping onto the hot exhaust manifold and burning. This is a common issue on your vehicle. It could also be a belt subbing something or another fluid leak. I suggest having a trained technician, like one from YourMechanic, take a look at it to determine the cause of the engine smoke.
