Q: Car skids when brakes pressed

asked by on

My brakes are not working, and the car skids when I press the brakes.

Your car is most likely having a hydraulic brake leak. This is a very dangerous issue and the car should not be driven until the vehicle has had its brakes checked. I recommend seeking a certified mechanic, such as one from YourMechanic, to come and test your to diagnose your brake system and make sure that the proper repairs are made to get your car safely back on the road.
