My car has an automatic transmission.

Hello there. It’s possible that your transmission or other drive line component is stuck, which reduces the cars ability to move forward. This could also be caused by the gear shifter linkage being damage as well. It’s a good idea to have a professional mechanic come to your location to complete a car is hard to shift inspection.
