Q: Car only goes in First and Reverse

My car only operates while in First and Reverse. The fluids look fine. It gave me error codes P0141 and P0400, but then they went away.

This sounds to me like an internal transmission problem, not necessarily a clutch pack, but maybe a shift solenoid. I would suggest having a certified mechanic, like one from YourMechanic, test and diagnose your transmission shifting problem.
