Hi there. This sounds like an issue with either your shifter linkage or the shift solenoids inside of your transmission. These solenoids tell your transmission what gear to shift into. In addition, it is possible that your transmission does not have sufficient transmission fluid to shift between your gears. Have a certified mechanic diagnose your gear shifting issue more precisely, and have a transmission fluid service if needed.
