Q: Car not going after turning.

asked by on

My car makes a clunking sound while turning. After the car turns, it won't go, and makes a rumbling sound.

If this only occurs when turning it is commonly a problem with the transmission. The differential assembly in the transmission locks up and causes the vehicle to act this way as the side gears bind after turns. You should enlist the help of a transmission shop to diagnose this.
