Q: Car not coming out of park

asked by on

My car will not come out of park.

The most common problem with this vehicle not coming out of park is the brake light switch. The computer doesn’t see that your foot is on the brake and will not allow the park lock to disengage. I would recommend having a certified technician come out and test the brake switch and replace it as needed.
