Q: Car not always starting and going slow when it does.

asked by on

My car will not start most of the time and when it does it will not go over 20 MPH.

It appears that there are problems with this vehicle’s fuel filter. It is possible that the fuel filter is stopped up or the fuel pump is bad. I would recommend a mechanic, such as one from YourMechanic, to come out and test fuel pressure to determine if this is the problem. It is possible that something else could be wrong with the vehicle such as a bad catalytic converter.
