Q: Car is having acceleration problems

Okay. A couple days ago my gas pedal stopped working while I was driving. The drive and reverse wouldn't really work at all. The car was ideling horriable, shaking bad. (That day I topped off with gas and also got a car wash) so I figured maybe water got into the gas, so I put heet in and other product to clean fuel injectors. My gas pedal works now and idles a little better still shakes, but now my issue is my car has very slow acceleration, and I seem to notice as soon as I hit 25-30mhp my car shakes and feels like I'm driving on a dirt road. My car will not go up hills unless I'm already going at a decent speed and even then it barely wants to go. I have no dash lights on, I put in new spark plugs in and a new MAF sensor. I don't know what else to check. Fuel filter was changed exactly a year ago this month. I also should add my car has a tick tick tick noise, has plenty of oil. And when I start the car the idle rpm goes from 900 to 950 back to 900 back to 950 while ideling. Help
