Ignition lock cylinders have to be in perfect shape to work properly. One sticking or broken tumblr and it won’t turn. Most times, keys cannot be repaired if damaged - only replaced. I would recommend having a certified mechanic visually inspect the ignition to determine what fixes can be made.
