Q: Car having trouble not starting on first attempt.

asked by on January 02, 2017

My car will not always start up right away after pressing starter but will always turn on by the 2nd attempt. I also notice the car rattling occasionally when I stop. It is intermittent and does not happen all of the time. I changed the battery and the starter but neither helped the problem. Please help.

My car has 100000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
